8mm "A fierce storm arose…. Jesus was sleeping at the back of the boat. High waves began to break into the boat until it was nearly full of water. Frantically, (the disciples) woke Him up."
-Mark 4:37-38a
artist's notes: The Gospel tells the story of Jesus, peacefully sleeping in a boat during a great storm, while the disciples with Him were terrified. Remember: these men were fishermen who knew the ways of wind and waves -- so it must have been an unusually fierce storm! Yet Jesus slept on, apparently oblivious to their distress. When they woke Jesus, He calmed the sea, and their awe shifted away from the storm, and onto Him.
There are so many aspects of this story that invite reflection.
Some of my favorite questions is to ask Jesus...

- Did You dream about Your friends,Your fears,Your future?
